The Head Pastor of Prophecy to the Nation and Macariah Community Churches, Prophet Peter Anamoh has denied a Daily Guide newspaper publication attributed to him that Zuarungu in the Upper East Region is the holy place to be in this end time.

Prophet Anamoh had earlier prophesized that the world was coming to an end on 11th November, 2011.

The Daily Guide had published an article on Wednesday 9th November 2011, and attributed to Prophet Anamoh allegedly claiming that the world will come to an end on 11th November 2011.

The newspaper further stated, the Prophet had declared Zuarungu as the safe and holy place for people to gather, but Prophet Anamoh denied the statement.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem on Friday maintained that the world would come to end today 11th November 2011, calling on people to live righteous so that they can be saved.

He said God had revealed to him that by midnight tonight, the world would come to an end, but was quick to say he will say hallelujah if God did not come by that time.

Prophet Anamoh however dismissed claims by a section of the public that the prophecy had caused fear and panic and therefore calling for his arrest. He said he had done nothing to be arrested.

An Associate Pastor of the church, Pastor Victor said people had gathered at Zuarungu, while the head Prophet was relaxing at a hotel in Zuarungu.

Adom FM’s reporter Joe Osei Junior who reported from Bolgatanga said people were rushing to Zuarungu where it had been prophesized to be a safe place.

He said, others too were seen going about their normal duties.
