NDC call for the resignation of Chairman
Just three months after the 2012 general
elections, A group known as NDC Faithful servants of the ruling National
Democratic Congress in the Talensi constituency in the upper east region are
calling for the head of their constituency chairman, Hammond Bukari.
The chairman is attracting the wrath
of his party members for misappropriation of party funds and logistics leading
to the 2012 general elections. According to the group in a press
conference addressed by Philip Yin, the chairman’s actions is destroying the
party which they say caused the party the parliamentary seat in the 2012
elections previously occupied by John Tia.
In a sharp rebuttal the, Party
chairman who spoke to Ultimate radio, said the funds and logistics were received
by him, party executives and the parliamentary candidate. He also denied
forming any group to cause the party the parliamentary seat.
