The new pope’s prophesied mission.

The new-flanged Pope Francis 1, from St Francis of Assisi, means reformer of the church. This goes in line with a prophecy by one Prophet Micah, who prophesied regarding all the Popes and indeed it all came to pass. He said the 111 th pope will resign and the 112 th pope will bring a number of reforms in the Catholic Church. These reforms include, decriminalize Rev Fathers marriage and other things that is irreverent and not in line with catholic teachings. According to the presage this 112 th pope will be the last pope and after him, there will be no pope. You see the Correlation between the name of this pope and his mission in the said prophesy? Zealous Catholics will gust me over this piece, but am of the outlook that this prophesy connote the end of the world in next to no time. I can make out and sense that the world is positioning itself for anti-Christ. A fanatical study I have made on this prophesy, be evidence for, and indeed with happenings of this day will desc...

Dr. Carolyn Tyhra Kumasi - Progress Story

Image
Dr. Carolyn Tyhra Kumasi is a visionary biologist and ardent environmentalist, and perhaps somewhat of an accidental advocate. This young scientist is conducting vital research on soil and water conservation to inform public policies affecting rural women—a bend in the career path upon which she initially embarked. A gifted researcher, Kumasi obtained her PhD in 2010 at the age of 28, and began lecturing at KNUST. But she couldn’t forget the community members she had worked with during her doctoral research examining the impact of land use change on water quality along the Barekese catchment area. The Barekese reservoir provides more than 80 percent of the total public pipe-borne water for Ghana’s second-largest city, Kumasi, which is home to 2.5 million people. During the past two decades, persistent degradation of the watershed has raised concerns about deteriorating water quality. Kumasi found that the reservoir is seriously polluted, in part by local communities...

Election Petition: 80 NDC members join wri

By Joseph Osei  The petition in which three leading members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) are challenging the declaration by the Electoral Commission (EC) of John Dramani Mahama as President in the December 7 and 8, 2012 general election, is taking a new twist. This is because nine different groups of National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters, making up 80 individuals, have filed applications asking the Supreme Court to allow them to join the petition. The joinder applications by the NDC surrogates are seen as a ploy to delay the court process. Imminent Delay As it is, if the highest court of the land allows them to join, the progress made so far in the case would be grounded to allow the applicants to file their answers to the petition. Some legal experts are of the view that the latest attempt by the applicants, although a constitutional right, is calculated to drag the trial so that the petition is never heard. But others believe that it is about...

Calm has return to Nakpanduri Township in the northern region after two tribes, Bimobas and Konkombas clash.   One person was killed and several houses were set ablaze, residents fled the town for safety. It is however unclear what triggered the sporadic shooting which started in the early hours of Wednesday, but residents believe the protracted land and chieftaincy issue might have triggered it. This morning, seven policemen are reported to have been injured in the process, the Assemblyman of the area Duut Daniel tells Ultimate Radio, although the police presence cannot be felt, the town is calm. Meanwhile the district police commander, ASP Michael   Zaa has refuted claims by the residents that the police are not on the ground, he also said almost all the houses belonging to Konkombas has been razed down. Chinese presence in Africa misconstrued by the Westerns and Others

There is no Chinese doing galamsey in this country that is the misconception created by people who sees the Chinese as a threat to their business in Africa. Because they provide affordable services and products to the middle and lower class who cannot afford the expensive western products they feel challenge and have resulted to using the media and other strategies to create animosity between China and Ghana (Africa). The Chinese in Mining only provides services to Ghanaian own registered mining companies, the reasons why you see the Chinese working on the ground is that they are hardworking and don't want to look interventionist like the Americans and others who want to sit and direct without participation. The Chinese has provided enormous employment to youths in our rural areas, now instead of rural urban migration, people prefers to move from the urban areas to the rural areas to work. Years ago the Chinese allowed the westerns to settle in their country later when the...
